Hi, I recently took this picture of the Fillin Station Diner at Whately, MA. Do you have information on this particular diner, such as the year it was built, architect or designer, etc? Thanks,
Tim
Tim, the Whately Diner Fillin Station is a 1960 vintage Kullman DIner. The model was known as a “Princess’ and in fact was the name of the diner when it originally traded in Holyoke, Mass. It moved here in the early 1970′s by the current owner F.L. Roberts (the company owns a chain of car washes, truck stops and convenience stores). They originally operated this in Whately as the Maverick Diner priot to renaming it.
